Google Ads management

We wire up the integrations on your site so conversions are actually captured, then run Search and Maps campaigns on precisely chosen keywords. The report answers which keyword produced customers — not how many clicks arrived.

Is your Google Ads budget earning its place?

Four questions about your advertising. If something needs fixing before you spend more, we will tell you.

Are you running Google Ads at the moment?

Where we stand

Measurement first, ads second

Advertising on an account with no conversion tracking is counting money in a dark room. We build the data pipeline before the first campaign, because the thing to optimise is customers, not clicks.

  1. 01

    Visitor

Everyone who lands on the site is tagged with the channel and campaign they came from.

  2. 02

    Zaraz

Tags run server-side. The site stays fast and blockers do not break measurement.

  3. 03

    GA4

Form, phone, WhatsApp and directions are recorded as separate events and marked as conversions.

  4. 04

    BigQuery

Raw data flows into your own project: unsampled, retained indefinitely, queryable with SQL.

  5. 05

    Google Ads

Conversions are attributed back to the campaign, so you see which keyword produced a customer.

We do not use Performance Max

We run Search and Maps campaigns only. Performance Max never goes into our quotes — not because we cannot set it up, but because in our own field experience it does not work.

The pattern is always the same: it generates cheap click volume, the dashboard looks busy, and no real customer shows up. On top of that it will not tell you which placement, which query or which audience the ad was served to. A campaign that hides where the budget went leaves nothing concrete to improve.

A campaign you cannot inspect is a campaign you cannot manage. Search and Maps account for themselves keyword by keyword: what each query spent, how many conversions it returned, what a conversion cost — all in one table. We are not comfortable charging you to manage something we cannot steer.

Process

Five steps to launch

Each step has a defined output. No budget is spent before the measurement pipeline is verified.

  1. 01

    Account and measurement audit

Any existing account, conversion definitions and spend history are reviewed. What is being mismeasured surfaces in the first week.

  2. 02

    Conversion pipeline setup

Zaraz, GA4 events, the BigQuery export and Enhanced Conversions are configured, then verified end to end with test conversions.

  3. 03

    Keywords and campaign structure

Keyword list, match types, negative list, campaign and ad group structure, and the ad copy are prepared.

  4. 04

    Launch and search term pruning

Campaigns go live. Over the first weeks the list is tightened against real search terms and budget shifts to what performs.

  5. 05

    Monthly report and optimisation

Spend, conversions and cost are reported; bid strategy, budget split and ad copy are updated against the data.

Pricing policy

Your budget, your account

Management fee is separate and annual

Our fee is a line item separate from the ad budget and is written plainly in the quote. The two numbers never mix, and nothing new appears at month end. Management runs on a 12-month agreement: the fee does not change during the year, and at the end of it scope and price are reviewed together and signed again. Your ad budget stays yours to change any month.

Budget goes straight to Google

You do not pay the ad budget to us. The payment method sits on your own Google Ads account, spend goes directly to Google, and Google issues the invoice.

The account is always yours

The Google Ads account is opened in your name and we work with admin access. Revoke that access any day you like — the account and its history stay with you.

FAQ

Frequently asked

Do we pay the ad budget to you?

No. The ad budget is paid directly to Google from your own Google Ads account, and Google issues the invoice. The only amount we charge is the management fee, listed as its own line in the quote.

Why do you not use Performance Max?

In our own field experience Performance Max produced cheap click volume that never turned into real customers. It also hides which placement, which query and which audience the ad was shown to. A campaign you cannot inspect is a campaign you cannot manage, so we run Search and Maps only.

Whose name is the Google Ads account in?

Yours. We work with admin access. If the engagement ends you simply revoke that access; the account, the spend history and the conversion definitions remain with you.

Will you launch campaigns before conversion tracking is live?

We will not. Going live without a measurement pipeline means spending budget while blind to which keyword earns money. Setup is the first line of work and takes a few days on most projects.

When do results start to show?

Traffic arrives the day a Search campaign goes live. Meaningful optimisation needs the first 2–4 weeks of real search term data; the actual gains come from the pruning that data enables.

What do I need for Maps ads?

A verified Google Business Profile. If there is none we create it; if there is one we clean up the category, service area, opening hours and photos. Maps ads run off that profile.

What is in the monthly report?

Spend, conversion count, cost per conversion and a keyword-level breakdown, plus the queries negated that month and the changes made. With the BigQuery link you can inspect the raw data yourself.

Google Ads management — conversion-first Search and Maps campaigns

Measurement first, ads second

Running ads on an account without conversion tracking is counting money in the dark. Our Google Ads management builds the measurement pipeline before the first campaign: server-side tagging with Zaraz, GA4 events, raw export to BigQuery and Enhanced Conversions.

Form submits, phone taps, WhatsApp and directions are each defined as separate conversions. The report then answers which keyword produced customers, not how many clicks arrived.

Search and Maps — not Performance Max

We run Search and Maps campaigns only. We do not use Performance Max: in our own field experience it generates cheap click volume that does not convert, and it hides where the budget went. A campaign you cannot inspect is a campaign you cannot manage.

Search term reports are reviewed regularly and wasteful queries are added to negative keyword lists. Pairing this with SEO work is the most efficient setup: ads give immediate visibility, SEO builds durable ground.

Frequently asked questions

Do I pay the ad budget to you?
No. Budget goes directly to Google from your own account. The account is opened in your name and stays yours.
Why avoid Performance Max?
Because it does not show where ads ran and reports cheap click volume as if it were real conversion. Search and Maps show what each keyword returned, line by line.
When do results appear?
Traffic starts the day a Search campaign goes live. Meaningful optimisation needs the first 2–4 weeks of search term data.
Can we advertise without a website?
Technically yes, but we advise against it. A landing page that cannot measure conversion spends budget blindly.
How is reporting handled?
A monthly report: spend, conversions, cost per conversion and a keyword-level breakdown. With the BigQuery link, the raw data is always yours.
